Skills Required (Bare Minimum):
Candidate must have considerable experience with multi-layered application architecture and large-scale systems at an enterprise similar in scale as ours. Someone who has dealt with multiple data channel integration points.

Nice to Have:
It would be nice if they also had GIS mapping experience but that's not a hard requirement.

Team Dynamic & Culture:
This team has 1 member who has been on the team from many years, one who has been with the team 3 years and also a new team member who joined in Sept 2019. The team pairs and mobs as needed but also carves out solo stories as well. Team typically interacts face to face, but we would consider a remote team member for this role.

Project Descriptions:
This project Virtual Plot Tour supports our Field Planning Operations. It was developed to provide quality assurance to an existing workflow allowing customers to validate and visualize their field, plot and boundaries through an integrated geospatial catalog of imaging sources. With the integrated resources within Plot Tour customers are able to explain data variance within their fields when comparing to models. There is a long-term plan for this role supporting both the existing and extensive planned enhancements.

Duties Specific to the Opening:
In addition to writing code in support of the applications owned by the team, the developer will be responsible for:
-Direct interaction with various customer business units to define and capture requirements as well as on-going collaboration on the development of new product features.
-Partnering with the User Experience (UX) team on the creation of prototypes and mock-ups for new interfaces
-Partnering with Product Management to prioritize the delivery of features within their software products
-Contribute to the technical decisions around architecture and tools in the creation of new software products.
-Creation of plans, use cases, and scripts for functional and performance testing.
-Participation in support aspects of their applications deployed to production.
-Ownership of the cloud infrastructure in which their applications are hosted.
