Teacher Resources

Hi Kids!  So you want to learn about Charles Lindbergh, aviation, and science, and have some fun while you're at it? Did you know that Charles Lindbergh was the first pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean without stopping? He accomplished this amazing trip in 1927, when he was only 25 years old. To see what sort of plane he used to make this famous flight as well as some other planes he flew in the early days, check out the dot-to-dots. The word searches are filled with words that can be associated with Lindbergh and his New York-to-Paris flight. And, there are some fun science activities including instructions on how you can build your own paper airplane that can fly a loop-the-loop and make your own compass. So, explore, have some fun, and check back often for some new games and puzzles to come.
